SHANK SNAFFLE

I was going to ride Tempest in the shank snaffle but it was beginning to rain and the ground is getting slick so I am using my D-Ring snaffle.

She was also 4 days fresh so tonight we just went the distance of about 2 ½ miles. Being fresh I used the hill to get her breathing and looking for a chance stop and catch some air. Later, we walked a short distance and trotted up hill about 1/8 of a mile. From there we walked down hill all of the way home. She walked steadily under control with her head low, her neck straight forward and flat footed.

I didn’t introduce anything new, tested the walk around both directions and just went the distance.
