The Hought Horses

Cielo Templario   Photos: 1st month   Cielo Templario was born 6-15-2007.   Cielo Templario is by Gulastras Knight out of a QH mare (Skylar by Masada EH).	10 days
10 days 2 1/2 weeks	Skylar and Cielo Skylar is 17 at this time. She has had limited riding, but it did include 3 limited distance rides when she was 4 years old. She broke her neck when she was 6 weeks old by running into a redwood tree. We suspect she was running and got startled by something and accidentally ran into the tree. We live in an area that has deer, elk and bears. Her neck looked like an upside down sausage for months. Tempestad was her first foal and Cielo is her second one. Skylar's parents were my favorite riding horses, both excellent trail horse. I rode both in endurance and ride & tie. Her dam, Diabla Caliente, did the Levi Ride & Tie in 1976, 1977 and 1978. Her sire, Masada, did the National Ride & Tie Championship in 1990.
2 1/2 weeks	2 1/2 weeks
4 weeks	Photo taken at 4 weeks with Pirate. Pirate was the only animal Skylar would allow near Cielo at birth and for several weeks. Even at 3 months any other dog was in danger of being chased.
