I rode Hoppy, his 12th 50 mile ride.
Whiskeytown Chaser is a hard but beautiful ride. I have to admit
I did not take photos when the terrain was difficult. It had
lots of water this year. Karen Fredrickson and I rode the 2nd
and 3rd loops together. Karen and MRR Pyro (Murphy) won the Pard'ners
Award in 2011 and attained the Perfect 10 award. Murphy is a
very nice horse and makes it all look easy. We lucked out on
very good weather the day of the ride. This ride is advertised
as a good for Tevis preparation. I really enjoyed it and was
very happy with Hoppy. |
